Whining noise when letting off the accelerator (1 Viewer)

it happens only between 60mi to 50mi. very tiny sound no vibration, hardly heard and i dont know when it started

history:

- truck has 160K now, replaced rear, front diff and Tcase oil recently (Sound was there before the flush, hoped it would eliminate it).
- Flushed the AT at 100K mi.
- Repacked the bearings 2K miles ago.
-replaced both front axles at 100K.
-Just replaced tires and alignment done.

i have the famous TCase leak ( way less than the pic below)

what could it be? U joint?

Easy to rule out u-joints, remove a DS, lock center, go for a drive.

what if it is from the rear u-joint?

If you remove the rear drive shaft, go for a drive, and the noise is gone, then you know it might be the rear DS. If it's still there, you can put the rear back on, remove the front, go for a drive, etc.
