Wheeling in Blue Ridge on 7/10/11 (1 Viewer)

Found some OHV trails open to the public in the Blue Ridge area. Some areas require rock stacking or drive right up if you have lockers.

Leaving my house at 10:00am.

The Jordon Toll Road is the path that we mostly followed.

The trail starts as small boulder type gravel. There are sections that have been paved.

The New FJ 40 coming up the hill.

In certain areas, if you open the door on either side of the vehicle, you are looking down anywhere from 50' to 300' depending which knife edge razor back you are driving on.

There is a tree across the trail.

The 80 with the roof rack had literally inches to spare from the log portion. The limbs ended up coming off as the roof rack brushed by.

The 80 had sum rubbing on both sides but it made it through.

After a few attempts and some rock stacking. It was decided that full width axles with street gearing was not going to get it done.

He backed out with no damage to the vehicle or breakage.

With expert driving, the New FJ 40 drove through the rock slide without touching the brakes.
