Hey guys, the clutch was on its last leg and I decided it was time to change it out. The oil pan gasket was leaking and figured we might as well replace the gasket. This was sitting in the oil pan, any ideas what this is???

looks oil pumpy...

I don't know.

a PO didn't install a spacer on a new fuel pump and this is the result.
a brand new broken pump and the piece in the oil pan

Thanks everyone! So fuel pump, should I pull it and install a new one with the spacer or am I good to go for now.

damn, i love this site....thats service...

is the rig currently running?
if it is running the pump is good.
when the fuel pump is installed without the spacer the arm is broken and the pump no longer works, truck will not run.
it most likely was done by a PO years ago, the piece in the oil pan causes no issues so it just stays in there until the pan is removed.

Rig is running, thanks everyone! And yes, 5 star service on Mud. That’s why I keep coming back.
