I'm looking to do alot of the little things that need to be done on my 77 40. So i took apart my heater fan box under the hood and want to clean it up while I change out the resistor to obtain the low speed of my two speed fan. Upon taking it out the box appears to be made out of some early type of plastic. I've seen pictures of people's engine compartments and everything looks all shiny and new, I'm usually envious, but after looking at this box it appears to be kinda flat black.
Has anyone done a recondition with good rresults that retains the original look? I always use the search function first, but had no luck, look forward to some advice,thanks.
