Not psychic, just been there. Forward movement is always good, might not seem much to you, but all those little jobs and 30 minutes here and there add up. Keep going!

Those 30 minutes spent wrenching are so damn therapeutic. :)

Just hanging out in turbo-land, still being a MB mech.......Here is my instruction list:
1) Pull manifold/turbo unit
2) Degrease and clean engine block and anything else you can get a spray bottle and brushes on.
3) Rebuild turbo
4) Clean/de-rust and treat all steel parts (BTW, got a newish and interesting method for the treatment of high-heat parts. Will share if it works;))
5) Paint engine block and install new exhaust gasket.
6) Reassemble everything
7) Hope it all works
8) Enjoy a cold beer if it all works, two if it doesn't......

So the other day I put on my belt with my sweet 55 belt buckle, and I was showing it off to my wife......

Her response was "So you going to take this coming weekend and put the motor back together and start driving your 55 so you're not just a poser?" Ouch! But so true.

Looks like I got my marching orders ;)
