I lost a vertical thumb screw just last week. No dealer can find the part number for the screw itself. Any ideas? I realize I can just go to a hardware store and buy a screw, but it won't be right.

I have a stainless bolt in there, been meaning to find something closer to stock on McMaster-Carr, just hasn't been that important to me.

40 cents for a short 6mm hex head and fender washer... Not fixed but it will work.
Lowe's, Ace Hardware, and Rack-it has them in their specialty screw section.
I just took off my factory rack today that I'm going to part out. If you PM me your address I can pop a scre in the mail. You just need the top torque-down screw with the plastic bit?
