Hey guys-
I searched the FAQ and wasnt able to determine whether i could run run Pro Comp Crawler 51 Series Steelies 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing (4 wheelparts recommended two backspacing sizes...2.5 and 3.75). I think 2.5 might stick out too far so i tried the 3.75 (sumpin tells me these are the only two options). I'm trying to run BFG M/T 33/12.5/15s and my concern is how close the rim sits next to the dust plate and tie rod ends. Any of you guys run 3.75" backspacing? If so, how does it ride and do you need spacers? Check out the pics and let me know what you think! All those that run the 33/12.5/15 combo, i would love to know what backspace you guys are running!

my buddy has 15x8 generic black rockcrawler style rims with 3.75 BS on his 82 FJ60 but has 3/8 spacers to get it all to clear good with 33x12.50x15 procomp MT's. OME 4" SUA lift... just barely rubs fenders inside at full turn

They look fine. Im running 33x12.5x15 on 15x10 with 3.5 backspacing...

I have 2.5 on mine and they dont stick out to far IMHO. I have 1 pro comp on my bumper mount as a spare and it fits with a spacer. My suggestion is to find a pro-comp dealer and tell them you are thinking about using that wheel and have them stick the wheel on the front for you. It just need to clear. It wont move around on you. I also did some checking and I think the pro comps are actually a little less than 3.75. Some of the books show the procomp to be 3.65. I tried some other wheels that were 3.75 and they would not go on.

Here are some pics of a 60 and a 62 with 2.5 inch backspacing. Should give you an idea of how much they stick out. Both are running 33-12.50-15. I am not sure what the other 60 with the factory bumpers is running for wheels and tires.

Had to dig out my recipt for may last purchase a 4WP.

The correct part numer for the 3.5 is PCW 51-5883s3.5 that's for a 15x8 black steel wagon wheel. I don't know if that will help but I thought I'd try.

I run 33x10.5 BFG Mt IMHO is big enough for what I need.
I would think if your going to a 12.5 you going to be hitting somewhere.

HTH.
