So say I was considering selling my FJ60 which has spent all but 2 years in Southern California and Arizona, and is now currently with me in Wisconsin and has been stored winters. I am considering moving back to Arizona. Strictly from a location standpoint, if I were to sell it, do you think it would be more valuable here in southern Wisconsin or would it be better to ship it back and sell it in Arizona? My personal opinion would be a desert vehicle would be more valuable in the midwest, correct? Or am I incorrect and its worth the same in either place?

My guess is, the local demand/appetite for Land Cruisers has a lot bigger impact than anything else.

The vehicle’s rust status is what it is. Doesn’t matter where it’s sold.

Yeah that was my thought as well. I figured a desert truck in the midwest would bring a premium over a desert truck in the desert.

Where the truck has lived the majority of it's life and how it was maintained are important items to consider
when buying a vehicle that's +30 years old.
