My hood is not closing.

Seems the cable is loose. I tried pulling softly back and forth but no success.

Pls advise any possible solutions.

First thing I would try is spray some WD-40 or similar on the latching mechanism to see if that frees it up.

Did pray WD 40 into latch mechanism but still no result.

Any other input ?
