Hey everyone,

I am putting my Instrument cluster back together and I can't find the small part that holds the needle of the temp gauge. I must have dropped it before it made it in to my ziplock but now I cant find it. Any ideas on how I could make something that will do the same thing or where I could get a new/used one.

Thanks

You could drill/file a piece say 1/4 or 3/8 plastic to make the part if nothing else can be found or work. Myself I would use a q-tip to oil the shaft and carrier lightly (a release agent) and then inject a bunch of hot glue to mound over the shaft.

Id start by measuring it with a vernier caliper and then search around for a plastic spacer. You might get lucky but I guess the hole is quite small - 1.5mm??

I've got one if you want it. Send me your address and I will throw it in the mail. I will just send you the whole temp gauge.

^^^^This is what makes this sight so good. In todays world that is not the norm. Nice job Conde Cruiser.
