i bought another relais but it doest cure the problem.

The wipers work on slow and fast also off works ass it should but the "INT" mode doest work the wiper doesnt move in that mode ?

Any tips or suggestions ?

Does the switch make contact in the INT mode? Try testing the voltage at the relay; sometimes switches can look like they ohm out but don't work when current is put through them. Just a thought.

i can try to see if i get voltage at the connnector that conects to the relais and at the wiper motor itself.

Or do you mean opening the relais and see if it does something in INT mode ?

I wouldn't worry about anything inside the relay if you have already tried replacing it. I am just wondering if you get voltage from the wiper switch to the relay, and then voltage from the relay to the motor. That way you can isolate which component of the three is the culprit.

yes but not all pins on the connector to the wiper relais and the connector to the wiper motor should get voltage i guess so then how much will i know if i measure voltage on a certain pin in the connector ?

The shassis and body manual does explain alot but my connectors are diffrent from the ones in the shassis and body manual as its a portugal spec.

And those portugal spec bj73,s dont have an electrical diagram/manual.

Also the wiper motor isnt the standard Toyota one but a spanish one with the following specs on it; Doga Barcelona v12 88103 made in Spain.

Another thing i discovered is that relay with the number 28380-20010 also effect the wipers because if i remove it from its connector the wipers dont function at all ! the relay has "fuel pump relay" written on it. mine is so rusted that i could not see the part number but i found it in toydiy with the shassis number of the portugal spec body and the picture of the location of the relay maybe this relay has a problem ?

the rustyrelay with part number;
85940A RELAY, WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH
28380-20010 12V

goes in the picture where i circled red;

indeed its strange that its called fuel pump relay on the thing itself but if i remove it from the connector the wipers stop working and the rest functions (i have made manual edic system but dont know if that relay relates to that)

This is your problem, it' s situated in the passenger foot side, in the plastic cover!

For Portuguese BJ 73, the Heavy duty manual is different, but is the same of the LJ's specs
