well done, It looks very professional.

Question?
Where did you obtain the heat shielding?
Is there a brand name for this heat shield??

X2 ..

And are those line with clamps your water lines .? ( lines getting in to the turbo )

Thanks..

the heat shield is from a bottom of any new model car or SUB.
we get this ones every time we have a collision car coming in for repair. is just over any cat converter or muffler on any car.

the clamps you see at the side of the turbo ..yes they are from watter line inn and out . is a push lock system and don't need clamps , but i guess an extra clamping won't hurt .

today i finish doing the 3 inch exhaust system to it .
sounds very nice the turbo at the end.
just looking to get a roof rack used if i can for it .

Cheers .

Thanks Apolo
It just seems so difficult to get this shielding "Off the shelf".

Looking again at your instalation, the oil return from the turbo does not appear to be a gravity feed down the sump. where does this line go?? Just curious..

Wow, I like your setup with the rubber elbows and hoses, it looks factory! Great attention to detail. It looks so much better than having those boy-racer coloured silicon hoses everywhere. :)

Looks great! Is that intercooler originally from another type of vehicle? If so, what type? Nice work.

Looks very neat and professional, hope it works as well as it looks too!

ps. please dont take offense, but jeebus, those welds on the pipe coming from exhaust manifold... You could have grinded them atleast a bit to make it look nicer...

Down pipe.

jajaja Good eye ther on the pipe ..! sorry for the desaster .. i will do another down pipe i guess.. yeah..that looks very bad every time i open the hood..!
i'll post another pic from the oil return line from the turbo ..is there do.
The houses are Volvo..and the intercooler is from an Audi A8.

I would love to have a turbo and last week allmost bought a 61 in Italy, glad it was sold before I got there... wife would simply kill me :p

She is not happy with my plan to stock 10.000 liters of biodiesel :D

But is the turbo to close to the brake? If the brake boils you have a problem and my subaru has a special oil filter for turbo models:
thinner oil filter for turbo because the thicker one was to close to the exhoust and made the oil boil.
