I managed to get my 285 spare in by flattening it and squishing it in with the chain lift

285s will not stick out on stock offset/BS wheels. They will if you run anything with a more - offset or BS.

I'm running 255/75 17 cooper st on my 04 gx . With out a lift I would get a very light rub every now and then. The 32 inch coopers didn't seem to change mileage at all.

Anyone running 255/75-17 tires? This is the take-off size for Jeep Wrangler Rubicons. Lots of inexpensive no-mile BFG MTs out there and I'm tempted.

Did you fit this. I have a LX470 2005 with 275/65/R17. and there is a Jeep wrangler rim and tires (set of 5) for a good price. (Size ( LT255/75/R17) so wanted to know will it fit
