Didn’t know that. I’ve been an aircraft mechanic 34 years myself. I’m at work right now at the PDX terminal and the current severe winter weather is making things rather exciting.

I’m sure, delays upon top of delays. I really haven’t worked commercial passenger maint type jobs.

Mostly 12500 lbs and under. Piston, turbine single and multi, float and ski operations, lots of bush work.

No application of external heat to accelerate the process?
 
Ahhh I see…. I’m on my last day off at home. Pulled the power train from my new to me 96 yesterday and woke up sick today. Getting worse as the day drags on. The COVID test is looking negative.

Last Saturday I went for four days with a six man team to Jackson Hole Airport in Wyoming to fix an A319. Engines started on push back, idle thrust slid the plane, on set brakes, right past the push tractor, which spun around so the rear end smashed the left engine nose cowl and over rotated the nose gear steering. Luckily the weather was fair while we were there.

Upper step bracket prototype completed.

Because I enjoy building s*** I feel there needs to be scratch protection for climbing up top. Why not🤦‍♂️

This is one layer fibreglass and two layers carbon fibre epoxy and vacuum bagged. .028” thick.

What is the height dimension of the winch mounting area? I don’t think that bumper will work with my older Warn that has an integrated solenoid pack.
