Decided to sell the yellow one and keep the white one. I have a MA title for the yellow one and the white one needs some minor electrical s*** and no title on that yet. Unless Powerball says differently....the yellow has to go.
1980 Hj45 Yellow- rebuilt newer 2H with no leaks. Smokes a bit on start up but pretty cleat after that. Has original glow primer set up and it takes a good 30 seconds to warm the glow plugs. I usually rush it so it puffs when you start it but hell, it's a 35 + year old truck. Plenty of power.
Drives 65-70 up the highway all day long. I regularly drive it 3+ hours North to NH each way for the weekend.
4 speed.
drums all around.
new brakes with parts imported from AU,
33x10.5 tires less than a year old,
OEM new rims with hubcaps,
Bestop middle seat, re-upholstered rear jump seats, front drivers seat needs to be redone
new headliner....got it perfect the first time. then it started to fall due to my using the wrong glue. Bought the right glue but had too many beers redoing it and did the job by myself. definitely can be pulled out and redone.
Very rare rubber trim cap for the inside of the roof edge around the headliner.
New taillights and front turn lenses.
New headlinghts.
New interior light
Fluids changed
New Bilstein shocks all around
New door panels
new larger battery
new emblems
Monstaliner done on the floor inside the back area
Extra custom spray cans yellow matching color code
Plenty more work done. would drive it across the country today.
Has rust in the top of the windshield frame and around the inside edges of the roof. There is some bondo here and there but not much...mainly on the rockers. If you feel the backside its not all the way through, just skimmed. plenty of original spot welds etc. Some small dings and dents. have original rare factory wagon rims to go with it.
The pics of the underside has dirt and old undercoating that is falling off. Might look like rust but it is definitey not.
Better to see it in person. Not desperate to sell.
