Meet Friday night at the Circle K at 12177 east Tanque Verde in Tucson.
7:30 p.m. for airdown 8 p.m. pull out
Should get off the trail around midnight or so.
CB 7

Doing the Chiva trial with lower Tanque Verde falls loop. This trial is more rugged than the Chiva trial itself and less traveled. Heavy brush in places and some good sized boulders reside in the creek bottom. These will probably be under water if the rains keep up. Should be interesting. High clearance required and sliders and rear locker would be a good idea. Some driver skill required. (I guess that counts me out :D )

So far it's 2 and 1 maybe. We'll probably play it by ear and maybe just drive around out there until we find a cool spot for the kids to play some.

So 2 correct? I'm down lets do this, anywhere is fine for me and IIIIII have a CB now........... amazing:lol: I bet there is some nice water to play in:) how long are you looking to go out for?

I wouldn't mind being home by midnight. So if you're in then it's 3. Jeff will be along, he's on the other forum I posted above. He has a modified 4runner.

Don't get stuck in the creek bottom, the forcast is for a pretty active afternoon and evening through the weekend..

Have a blast:cheers:

I got to get up at 4:30 tomm. morning, By the time I got home it'd be about that time.

I'll be sawing logs 'bout the time you airdown..:D

But thanks for the invite.

Wow last night was wild, here are some pics a lot happened:lol: First within five minutes somehow alvin's discovery tires pickup a boulder and chucked it into his wheel wheel bending his ome a bit, I guess they have good traction:lol:, he soon figures out he severed the abs @ that same incident. So we took it easy hung out down by the cottonwood trees (no water:() around 12:00 we made our way back and ran three feathers. Alvin was started to feel his power steering going out. We get out and check out whats going on to find that all of his fluid is hitting the ground, a line in there had a crack and was unfixable due to the radiator heat, so insteed of waiting to let it cool off Alvin came up with the idea to put tranny fluid in there (since we didn't have power steering fluid) and limping it home. WE made it back to circle K and a darn sheriff spotted that Import Silvia had a liceanse plate light out:flipoff2: I guess he got ticketed but we had to fill up the fluid and make a run back to Alvins house...he made it home and I believe is fixing the hose today if it will ever stop raining...BTW thanks for the beer and hospitality last night Alvin, it was NOO trouble @ all making sure you got home alright.
Here is Alvin playing with rocks again:lol:

Great Pics Jake!!! That friggin boulder still amazes me. I can't figure out how I pulled that thing up in there. I didn't get the PS fixed yesterday. I found the bad hose and got it out, then it started raining and kept raining for 5 hours. I gave up took a shower and got some beer. I finished replacing PS hoses today and flushed the system just a few minutes ago. It's all good now. I'll fix the ABS later.
You know the good thing about driving with something leaking. everything underneath gets a good waterproof coating :D

Some pics of the damage.

Nice to meet some new folks. It was indeed a great trip, thanks everybody. Alvin, glad you got the PS fixed, I'm still awed by that boulder getting up there.

Glad you got it fixed that's a strange looking crack almost looks cut. Come on Alvin I thought AZFJers do it in the rain, it wasn't raining that badly:lol: damn the whole town was flooded yesterday that was crazy!!! Jeff that's a great picture glad you could join us, hopefully we can go on another run soon. Did you happen to get any pics of us going up three feathers:D?

So I'm not the only one rollin big boulders into the wheel well huh!

I thought I was rollin over something on the axle. When I tried to back up I felt something hit under my foot. Stopped and got out and there it was, lodged between the tire, wheel well and shock.
