Got mine installed, thought I'd share a photo. On a side note, I wish the install instructions were a little more clear--when I first put it in it was backwards and I had to reverse it.....but maybe I'm the only one dumb enough to do that! :D
Thanks for the suggestion. I have "verified" the IR gun to some degree using mechanical thermometers on my wood stove. That's the main reason I bought the IR gun. It has always checked out to within 10 degrees +/- of what the mechanical thermo says, albeit at much higher temps, i.e. 300-700 degrees.
I have an LX450 and the springs are pretty sloppy. I understand the FJ80 springs were stiffer. I'm not wanting to do a lift right now, just want less saggy springs.
Well, I just wanted to update. I did get the $16 remote, and it works great! I also was able to get the factory one I had working--I think the LED light not being visible was hindering me being able to program it.....
Anyway, for $16 it's nice to have a replacement, plus, with fresh batteries...
Yeah, I know the tank in the video is aluminum, but metal is metal, and if it can be welded safely you can find a welder to do it. I had a steel gas tank for a tractor welded, I just had to take it off and have it steam cleaned before he would work on it. I sold the tractor 5 years later and the...
I just installed mine yesterday. Very fast shipping--it was a pleasure to do business with EMS!
I recently picked up the Torque Pro app, so, for a day before I made the switch I monitored the intake air temp via the app in order to see if there was any difference between the OEM black rubber...
Recently picked up Torque Pro, so I've been monitoring my systems via the app and the bluetooth OBDII transmitter.
According to my dash gauge, my normal operating temp is somewhere around the 40% mark on the gauge--once when climbing a hill it went up to 50%, but that's it.
The last few days...
I noticed that my foam seal is almost completely gone. Where did you get your replacement? Is it a special, heat-resistant foam, or will Home Depot do as a source?
Thanks!
You might read through this manual and see what they say about resetting the alarm:

I just had a similar experience driving my friend's '97 LX450 with ABS brakes. We were up in the mountains on some logging roads coming back into town. No super steep grades, driving pretty slow, no hard braking. Once we got back down to the main road, the pedal was VERY mushy. I did have some...
This isn't mine, and I don't know a lot about the 100 series, but this sure seems like a great deal..... http://corvallis.craigslist.org/cto/3946331061.html
