getting a bit ahead of you. Please say so if you don't like getting an awnser to a question you didn't ask. But I've found this very helpfull
This list was constructed by @Coolerman and I still thank him for it on a regular basis
bit hard to tell. Could you take another picture? Especially of the flange and one zoomed out a bit more then the picture in your original post.
The million dollar question is whether or not your t/case flange or driveshaft were modded
this what mine looks like without the drum (1980 bj40)...
Holy cr*p.....
just did a search for the diaphragm... found in the states
Pneumatic Governor Diaphragm 78-90 [22303-47010] - $100.42 : CruiserParts.net, Toyota Landcruiser Parts 100,42 dollar

DTP Motorteile GmbH 8,33 euro = 9,36 dollar
For the 91,06 dollar, I think...
What happens on the inside of the door when you lock/unlock the door? How big is the play on the inside door handle? At least it looks like the visible parts are installed correctly.
This how mine is installed anyway and it works exactly like honk says
I have more pics in build thread Rolling...
if you're talking about the pics in post #1425, then i would say you're good it the pictures are showing the rear of weld. As long as you're not seeing cracks after grinding when look at it from the top. I've seen repairpanels only tacked in then bondo'd. Not the way to go off course, but before...

I've read the thread, but can't seem to find where you actually say why you think it's overheating... Rudi (@bj40green ) and John ( @Landpimp ) both asked why you think it's overheating, but you never seem to answer... why do you say it's overheating?
If you are basing this on the temp gauge...

With the old sender reinstalled, the issue where the temp indicator pegs to full hot is resolved? If so then , i'm sure you guessed this, your new sender is either not the correct one or already broken before you got it.
SO...
As promised..
Not the nice AUTOCAD that some guys can create, but i think it'll do:hillbilly:
The red bit is how the metal piece is situated in plastic bit. All the corners are seriously rounded off.
My handle was a bit thinner at the side of the door latch ( it tapered up, if that makes...
