Harlan (Black Mt. ORV) is a good place that would be close to Knoxville. Is Windrock outside Knoxville considered a ORV park? Our club (Bluegrass Cruisers which Wayne Raintree is a member of) went there last year and it was a decent place. Our club goes to Slade several times a year and it is...
I also run the 670 cfm on my 350 and it works great. I have had it off road twice and no problems on off camber situations. I may need to re-jet or look at the settings as mine seems to drink gas. Just my experiance.
Boone,
Our club went 4 wheeling there last weekend. We go there several times a year. I will ask at our club meeting today if anyone has done any camping or climbing in the area. When were you planning on coming to the Gourge? If you have any intrest in doing any wheeling, we may be able to...
I have the jensen unit and connected the pink wire to one side of a switch and the other side of the switch to a ground. You have to flip the switch 2 times to fool the unit in thinking the parking brake is on. At least on mine I have to flip the switch twice.
Mroffshore, There are several writeups on going the route you described in this forum. He already has the Hellroaring set-up, so just trying to help him out on his specific question.
I am using the Hellroaring dual set up on mine and I found I had to run the wire from the isolator to the starter. I set it up origianlly going to the main battery post, but found when the main was drained down the aux. battery could not start the cruiser. When I ran the wire to the starter it...
You could take the axle to a machine shop and have them weld a bead around the groove and then machine it down to the correct size. A buddy had to do that with an axle off of his 60. May just be cheaper to try and find a used axle though. I don't remember seeing a speedi sleeve for an inner...
Poorhouse,
Welcome to mud :flipoff2: When you say swap the trans. case and rear diff, do you mean drain and replace the fluid, or are you actually changing them out for some reason?
See you have already posted, I retract my welcome and say congrates on the new ride!
On my 94 the amp was behind the passenger side speaker in the dash. I dropped the glove box and the speaker cover and removed mine when upgrading the stereo. Not sure if it is in the same place on a 95 though.
I'm runnong my 94 FZJ without the cats with no problem. It was that way when I bought it, but I had the exhaust replaced and went without the cats on the new set up and everything works fine.
I like your design. You may want to add some stabelizing jacks to the rear if you are mounting your RTT to enter it the way you have in the picture. I used some trailer jacks I got off of e-bay. I also added another set to the front as I think it feels more stable when in the RTT.
Filmpros, how long have you had your harness? I have been runnig the harness for about a year with no issues. I wonder if Slee has upgraded the relay's in newer harnesses. As far as the upgrade in performance, I can see a difference in the output of the lighting, but that is based on my opinion...
Did the problems start right after adding the second battery, or has the battery been there for awhile? I grounded my second battery to the frame. I don't have the FSM but if someone here may have the wiring diagram that shows all of the grounds that would help you track them all down.
You can try to run a tap through the backing nuts. You said they are stripped out, correct? They do not have a bolt broken off in them? If they have broken bolts in them, you would have to drill them out first before tapping them and if it is hard to get a grinder to them, I am sure it would be...
