After all the years, effort, and expense of rebuilding the Cruiser, I sadly said good-bye to it this weekend as it begins a new chapter with a new owner.
By popular request however, I am leaving a website active that chronicles the renovation journey with links to some of the vendors/suppliers...
What a great community - thanks again to you all. By popular request, I am going to leave the website active for a while to serve as a resource for all who may be inclined to follow a similar path to ruin, errrrr...., I mean nirvana ;)

Thanks DFXR & MACFJ60! It was a difficult but necessary decision to put it up for sale and my hope is to keep it in the Cruiser community with those who appreciate it for what it is.
Johnny, I received your PM and sent you a reply.

Recent life events have forced me to do the unthinkable: put the truck that was "never intended to be sold" up for sale.

This is a meticulously maintained, West Coast vehicle from TLC 4x4 in S. California. Several OEM and...
Since you have the emissions manual, follow the test procedures to check for proper function of each of components shown in the diagram you posted. Proper routing and connection of all the vacuum lines is also critical. Replacing the vacuum lines with new can also improve performance. McMaster...

The donor vehicle from which this came, did indeed have the H55F 5-speed tranny and the split t-case.

Pics.... yep, I need to get some posted. Until I get some up, if you PM me with an email address, I'll send you some.
As far as cost, here are some current prices for these motors with similar parts:
Spectre Offroad: $7,300.00
Cruiserparts.net: $7,200.00 - $7,500.00 if they can find one...
You know, I have no idea???? I never had the opportunity to see the donor vehicle from which it came.
Sorry, no "porch" bumper. What you see in the pics is all of what came from the HJ61.
HTH,

This unit was pulled from a JDM spec '89 HJ61 out of New Zealand. It attaches to the split transfer case found in the later '60 series. If you have a split t-case, it should mount up directly.
