    Replacing Carpet

The best sound deadening material is Dyno-mat!! Get the big pack (weighs like 80lbs!!) should be enough to do your floors, with double layers around noisy areas like trans hump!! You can also get a couple of packs and double or tripple layer it depending on how quiet you want it!! There are a...

    A/C Runs than Stops

So the compressor IS engaging at first for those 4 mins, then turning off and not reengaging? If yes then there is some problem that with your a/c system that is turning off the compressor. Problems that would do this are, low refrigerent pressure, to high a pressure, the condensor freezing up...

    Oil leak liquid fix

The problem with additives that go in any fluid, is they have properties of thier own that the factory didn't acount for when they built the rig. this can cause numerous problems, depending on what the additive is. With a stop leak type fluid, there are a couple of diferent ways they can work...

    Bad caliper?

Try lubing the slide pins on the calipers. If these bind up they cause a caliper to wear one side of the pads and not the other. This is a lot more common than debris from the lines.

A/C recharge - need some QUICK answers....

When you say it doesn't work in drive, do you mean the compressor actually shuts off when you put it in drive? Or does the vent temp just rise? If the compressor is still cycling on and off while in drive then I need to know high and low side pressures, ambient temp (temp around the truck...

Rear AC won't work but Front does

You would have to add a second condenser, fan, lines and way to much work to make it worth it. My question to you is that you said you just installed a compressor that was pre oiled right? The compressors come with enough oil for the entire system, where as the system will already have oil in...

    Urgent front axle help needed

Why are they saying the birfields are bad? Did they dissasemble them and find damage? If they just want to replace them because they can mark up the price and sell you something else then I'd say no. If they really are bad then definately replace them, however it's a little concerning that a...

    Stainless Steel Brake Hoses

I have the lines due to lift. If you just want them for brake performance I don't think you will notice much unless you upgrade the rotors and pads. If you plan on a lift in the future you will need them anyway. If you are just looking for something to spend money on go for it, will also add...

Idle too low, how do I get it up??

If it's idle is lower than it used to be, it could be due to all your work. I've noticed after messing with stuff and having the battery disconected it takes a while to re learn the idle and will seem to idle low for a little while. It relearns and corrects it self with out having to do...

    EGR valve

Eliminating the EGR with out any other kind of mod won't gain you anything. There is an EGR eliminator kit for the twin turbo Supra straight six, however there has to be timing, fuel and ECU mods for this to actually gain you anything besides detination and higher emmisions. Remember the EGR...

    EGR valve

NOx emissions are created inside the combustion chamber wher temps exceed 2500 degrees (IIRC). By piping some inert gas into the combustion chamber (spent exhaust) you take up some of the area that would normally be filled with gas and air and thus make a smaller exlosion when the spark plug...

    Empty connector under the console...

I have three conectors in that location that connect to air!! I followed the two black ones and they seem to end up under each seat - seat heaters I figured, the white connector I thought must have been for the relay for them. But this is just what I thought up may not be even close. To find...

Siruis Radio & Disk Changer Questions

I doubt there is a way to tie your sirius into the factory system(at least there wasn't on my 94) The FM modulator will probably be your best bet on a stock stereo you would never hear the loss in quality, also sirius has issues itself with sound quality when going through tunnels ect. The sub...
