Here's some pics from the undercarriage. Note on the last pic, the rust you see is actually on the rock sliders so an easy fix (sandblast and powder-coat). I should have pulled them off for selling and pics but I ran out of time. Minimal rust on the vehicle and it's only on the surface.

Yes, I remember now. They called it a "half rack".
I bought it before Slee started to import them. I think the manufacturer shipped it to me here in Canada.
Slee and I discussed them before he started to sell them. It has served me well for many years.
As long as it meets the USA standards for that model year (emissions) importing should be easy. It was sold new in the USA so that should be easy. I don't think any duties but would need to double check. I looked at this awhile ago and didn't seem to be very much of a hassle.
It's a bolt-on (clamp on to gutters). Material is aluminum. Floor of rack is wide flat strips. Has inserts for bolt tie downs. Made and sold by Outback.

I have a very small leak from what I think is the pan arch seal.
I am scheduling the process of having my local cruiser shop doing the HG.
Once we have the head off, is there any point in doing the pan arch seal at the same time?
I assume that the seal is done from the bottom so not much...
Hi guys - I have a question regarding ICBC and Collector plates so I thought I would post here.
I have a 1995 FZJ-80 that "looks" pretty stock. The mods are:
- skid plate under tranny (hard to see without crawling under).
- 2.5" OME lift (I know that's more than the 1" max)
- Sliders (need...

Great thread guys.
I wonder if location has much impact on prices?
I am in Vancouver Canada but close to Seattle WA and thinking of selling my near mint 95 80 series.
I just don't use it enough. I will put on the road this spring and see how attached I am to it.
I am wondering if the Pac...
Anybody looking for some 80 series OEM steel rims and they just happen to have basically unused Blizzak snow tires on them?
I never used my 80 series on the snow/salty roads so I have no need for them.
Here's a link to my Craigslist post for them: Craigslist post with pics.
$450 and they are...
Set of winter tires on for 80 series.
Tires are 275/70R16 on OEM steel rims.

These are about 6? years old but hardly ever used. Tread is like new condition.
Stored in garage for their entire life (not on my 80 series).
Good price for a good home.

anybody have experience with carcovers.com?
I see them mentioned above but wondering how happy you were.
The vehicle selector / sizing concerns me so it would be nice to hear if someone has just punched in our 199x land cruiser and was happy with the size. Also I have a short roof top tray and...
Thanks. I called Randy at Steering solutions and looks like they do this all day long... I think I will pull myself and get into them.
thx for the tip!!
Hi guys -
I have a bit of slop in my steering on my 80 series. I think it's the steering box and from reading here the preload on the internal bearing in the steering box. Any recommendations on a local shop that can work on the internals of the 80 series steering box?
I could pull out...
