Looking for advice on a seized motor - LX470

I definitely took that as verified fact. Although if it IS just a timing belt, is it a great idea to keep turning it over? Seems like that might be a good way to bend some valves...

Looking for advice on a seized motor - LX470

Pay for a compression test on the potential, 135K mile engine. Question I would want answers to: Is it a 2UZ-FE from a Land Cruiser? From a Sequoia? From a Tundra? Non-VVTi? At 135K has it already had its first timing belt. $1800 isn't a bad number for a relatively low mile engine.

    New shock choices

It's been my observation that they are more popular with the Taco crowd, but that might just be "brand recognition" based.

    New shock choices

PO installed Fox Performance Series 2.0's on mine and I've been very happy with them. The people I've asked say they are generally equivalent to the most recent OME offering. (Nitrochargers) They are not remote reservoirs. Body roll was very controlled (includes extended swaybar links) and that...

Packaging was good...there was a dent on the roof but not a biggie for me. I get the feeling it kind of flummoxed the UPS guys because a manager made a special trip in an otherwise empty regular/small UPS truck and needed me to help get it off the truck (178 lbs.) It was protected by: Plastic...

I like the sentiment and the comment... The RTT is for the wife and kid, I'm too fat to get up and down that ladder and I can't sleep anywhere near my wife...she SNORES loud and can fall back to sleep after being woken in less than 10 seconds. I have a Gazelle T3X Overland Edition pop-up tent...

    Inner CV Boot split

I replaced the entire rack because I had multiple leaks and worn mounting bushings so I can't speak to repair efforts as well as others. There are some threads on here dealing with rack rebuilds.

Should I consider a 100 Series for a Kid Hauler?

Every Wednesday we (my wife, my 8yr old son and me) meet up in town at a Mexican restaurant for dinner (her Wednesdays are her longest work day) and every Wednesday my son wants to ride home with me in the Cruiser...my wife is sorta miffed that he never selects her and her 2014 Fusion. He just...
