Maybe you should post up a high resolution flatbed scan of one (if you haven't used it yet) so anyone, anytime and anywhere could take it to their local sticker printer.

I have been asked to do a run of these.

I've inquired again about them and the price is $5.
Just trying to gauge a show of hands if its worth going and getting these made.

I'd be tempted to get one for my truck just to f/with PacToy.

Order has been put in,
When I get them in my possession I'll post them up. Hoping they turn out well.

Karter

If you ordered any extra, I'd be in for one or two!

I would be interested to see if your vendor can do a run of the 1HD-FT stickers. Same look as the ones in this thread, just different letters. /thread jack over/

Steve

I am sure he could.
Apparently they are done and will be put in the mail shortly here.
Hopefully it won't be too long until I can receive them

Got some made up at a slightly larger size if anybody wants some. Have an ad up in the diesel section.

$4 shipped to you.

I do plan on getting some made to scale sometime here.

While this won't suffice for roscoe :) , here’s more real world evidence that the design at least is real. Head gasket for 1HZ-T from toyota, no. 1 gauge, unique part number not shared with any other vehicle, which is actually the same thickness as the 1HZ no. 5 gauge. It came with the 1HZ-T rebuild kit which has the 1HZ-T pistons manufactured to toyota specs nowadays by diesel power parts from engines australia.

detail on the gaskets...

GHTO340G1/G3/G5 – head gasket to suit Toyota 1HZ-T

O.E. Number: 11115-17020-01, -03, -05

Construction: Steel laminate head gasket

Gasket Selection by Piston Protrusion:
0.475 - 0.525 mm 1 (340G1)
0.526 - 0.625 mm 3 (340G3)
0.626 - 0.725 mm 5 (340G5)

Gasket Thickness: (Grades 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 used from factory, but only 1, 3 & 5 used for aftermarket.)
1.35 - 1.45 mm 1 (340G1)
1.40 - 1.50 mm 2 use 3
1.45 - 1.55 mm 3 (340G3)
1.50 - 1.60 mm 4 use 5
1.55 - 1.65 mm 5 (340G5)

Other evidence, I was having my hybrid 1HZ pump with 1HD-T compensator tuned the other day at an injector shop and when searching their database for pump ibench test specifications to guide the process, as well as the 1HZ and 1HD-T specs they also found published specs in the exact same format for the 10mm 1HZ-T pump on the 24v coaster, which didn't have a boost comp by the way.

I have copies of all three pump testing specs and was thinking of scanning them for karters 1HZT tuning thread, not for tuning the hybrids but its an interesting read for anyone who just wants to know the details of the 1HZ-T pump design specs by comparing the differences with the 1HZ and 1HD-T, which sort of tell 's you a little more about just how hard it was designed to go compared to the 1HD-T.

as for my 2 cents worth on its existence... I reckon one will turn up eventually if we can convince a few european brothers to invest (or waste) some (or heaps of) time to search wrecking yards... i mean in terms of one run of new untested 1hz-t coasters sold for just 2 years three months alongside the tested 1hz coasters.... there must have been less than a thousand sold i reckon, and think about it, we are talking about a bus, usually bought by the fleet owners accontant thinking about nothing more than upfront and running costs and passenger capacity, the bus driver wanting a little less ankle strain and overtaking stress would have rarely been the one deciding which model to buy, so if we assume they were produced, finding one now 20 years later will be a needle in a hay stack... there are like hundreds of landcruiser forums world wide and not a single coaster forum, so we'll need someone with access to toyota europe sale figures to settle the argument of whether one was assembled and sold

at the end of the day it's obvious the 1HZ-T was designed by toyota engineers and for those who just physically can't transplant a 1HD-T, its nice to know we can use these unique parts to make our own 1HZ-T's more reliable instead of just slapping a kit on and crossing your fingers!

The injection volume which you've just cut-off in the above image of 12.3-12.9cc/200 shots is equal to 61.5-64.5cc/1000 shots.

Which if we assume efficiency (BSFC) of 250g/kwh and use 63cc/1000 shots comes out to ~370Nm. So I'd expect power/torque to roughly match the 1HD-T.
Boost required to do this, about 12psi. No intercooler at 20:1 A/F.

yeah i was just wanting to show another bit of 1hz-t literature existed... I was going to post it completely somewhere else but here is as good as any! give me a few minutes

Should I bring this up again? I was just in Europe for the last 5 weeks and drove about 3200kms.Unfortuneatly I did not find any 1HZ-T's. Infact in Belgium/France/Netherlands I only spotted 1 each of 80,100,200 Landcruisers. In the UK I spotted 2 80's 8 100's and only 1 200.
I think the reason there are no 1HZ-T's to be found is that they are not actually Coaster Buses(Still called a Coaster though). They were all sold (according to ToyoDiy) as Non complete vehicles with chassis and windscreen only. This is backed up when you search for body parts on them and it comes up NA.Possibly they were manufactured for a specialised use, Maybe with a custom cabin or for airport use .

So to add fuel to the fire i think i am going to post this nice thing that is called VIN: TW043PB5009000012

Vehicle: Coaster - BB4#,5#,BZB40,50,HZB50,RZB40,50,TRB40,50,XZB5#
VIN:TW043PB5009000012
Reg. No:0810GN
Build date:02/1993

Model Description
Model Number: HZB50L-ZRMSXW1

Engine 2:

Paint Code: 000 - CKD COLOR

So i think there is more and more evidences that 1HZ-T does exist, but was produced in very small quantity for some special use in European countries.

WOW, is this the needle in the haystack!? but they'll come from everywhere wanting you to cough up the details!

so what's the story behind your discovery of the VIN? what country does the registration number come from? is there a lead to anyone who could take you a photo of the VIN plate to silence the non-believers? LOL

I wish to get a picture of Toyota label with VIN and maybe a picture of the engine itself. That is the next goal when i have time.

OK a bit more light on the mystery. The reason why nobody have seen coaster bus with 1HZ-T because 1HZ-T was never used in Coaster buses.

When VIN is checked it tells us that it is "INCOMPLETE VEHICLES (CHASSIS & WINDSHIELD)" And it is true as Toyota never sold Coaster Bus with 1HZ-T instead it supplied chassis to a company Grupo Salvador Caetano which is Portuguese company that builds buses and coaches. VIN also tells as that the country of destination is PT(Portugal)

So if anybody wants to find a unicorn with 1HZ-T you need to look for Toyota Caetano 01/1993-05/1996

I know i opened :worms:
