I have a buddy who is having the fuel return to his fuel tank after about 2 days of sitting...

What gives?

Cheers

Not sure what type of carb is on your truck (all of my Toy's have been EFI), but on the old Carters, and Rochesters a faulty accelerator pump would cause this problem. If you read up on this there are a number of things that can contribute to this such as improper float level adjustment, etc. Maybe it's time to rebuild it!

Thanks! I was thinking of installing a weber for him. Had one on all mine growing up and loved them. Alot easier and simpler in my mind than fudging with the aisin for a rebuild.

If smog isn't an issue then I'd say sure but I personally LOVE my Aisin. There is a little valve in the carb that keeps the fuel from returning. Sounds like yours is bad. I didn't rebuild mine personally, had it professionally built. Best $250 bucks I ever spent.
