I'm hoping to find a small (60w) 24v to 18v converter to power a cordless battery tool charger. The wall wart is 120v to 18v so I figure I should be able to take the 24v of my truck and step it down to 18v to feed the charger. I know I can get an inverter to go 24v > 120v to run the wall wart but that seems like a long way to go for this... I'd like a dedicated power supply for this charger.

I've Googled but have not found what I need.... any thoughts from the 24v folks or the electronics wizzards?

Do you have a 12V converter for your 24V tuck? Milwaukee has a car charger that does 12V/18V.

Thanks, but that's not going to be too much help with my Ridgid batteries!

Thanks, I may have been talked into just using an inverter, that I already own but was not sure I was going to install, to run these battery tool chargers and other things.
