Looks great! The lead work looks way better than body filler.

I’m curious about this technique. Off to the googles I go…

All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher

The low rider drives a little slower
Low rider is a real goer

Low rider knows every street,
Low rider is the one to meet,
Low rider don't use no gas now
Low rider don't drive too fast
Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip and see
Take a little trip, take a little trip
Take a little trip with me

Looking mighty fine, man. Thanks for sharing, keep it up!

PS. May I ask where did you purchase your new body panels?
Thanks!

don’t know, I never buy parts for customers vehicles. The owner bought them.

Roll bar brackets. These were wasted, so I soaked them in acid, sand blasted them. I made some new plates where the bolts holes and weld nuts are located. I cut the rusty parts off, welded the new metal on and drilled the holes. I need to clean up some of the welds, and attach weld nuts, but they look good.

It has been a while. I had to complete an HJ75, so I haven't been working on the 40. Now that's done, we are full speed on the 40.

Tub is done, and sprayed with Raptor.

Tub is on the frame now. Rockers are installed, everything is welded and moving forward. Fenders, doors, and hood have been final block sanded at this point and ready for sealer and paint.

Almost everything else is ready for primer now. Lots of small parts that had to be prepped and it took all week. One of the rear doors has rust, and today I started working on it. The other door looks pretty clean but I will cut the bottom off of it also to be safe.

Finishing up this door rebuild. Sandblasted the remaining rust off the inside and welded the new part on. Now I will make the skin piece and attach that. Everything is coated with zinc primer on the backside and will get cavity wax afterwards.
