Hello everyone,
I just installed the controller into my 1984 bj42 24v Canadian spec.
Installation is very straightforward and all literature provided is very concise and accurate. The factory harness connection needs to be swapped as they are...
- Masa and his 10 year old son Masaya are the only people who speak English on the event weekend. They ask us if we want to visit them after the event and learn how to make soba noodles.
What do you think our response was..???
Tomorrow the...
Thinking about selling my Troopy. I imported this from AU ages ago. It's RHD with power steering. It started life as an HJ45 and I swapped in a turbo 3B. There's a build thread here.
It's got an H55F and a Marlin Crawler Toybox. ARB air...
Tomorrow I will tell you about Japan! When the Land Cruiser returned to its place of birth!
Should I keep images just related to vehicles, or can I color and spice it up with adventure and culture?
After 21 years we are still going strong! In the meantime we crossed South America, shipped to Korea and Japan, crossed Russia and Mongolia and Central Asia and are now back in Turkey.
I will have to see how to get a more up to date image in...
Ha. I don’t ask for deals from small business. Or any businesses really.
I have $2000 in powder, $1000 in steel panels from Cruiser Corps and $8000 in paint and body.
Contact @Ozark cruiser direct. He’s the absolute best.
For me it's worth the gamble. From the 1975 model on FF rear axles were standard in the Australian market. Not all of them are bad. Have one from either a FJ40 or BJ42 and one from a 84 HJ47RV. Both those are in decent shape. Same with a HJ47...
I hope all is well with you.

Cleaned and painted seat frames and brackets put on my Cruiser Corps seat covers but before I finished it all up I brushed my Buddy Thunder put some of his fur in a vacuum bag zip tied it into the passenger side back rest so we can go for rides...
A little diversion.
When I pulled the transmission cover/hump, there was a good bit of rust around the edges. I'm guessing it's mainly from Mississippi humidity way back when. So, I posted up on our local Rising Sun page and was able to find a...
EXTREME TECH ALERT!!!
I put on a new OEM gas cap.
Aaaand…
Replaced the rear view mirror head. New arm was for a different year so if anyone wants or needs the new one, hit me up.
That’s an incredible example of a left-hand drive 45 Troopy that appears hasn’t been taken apart.. Good luck with your sale. I’m surprised it’s still here and available. I wish mine was this clean and mostly rust free.
Won the pitman arm battle.
Broke the puller I had in the tool box, had no luck with the Autzone heavy duty rental PA puller. The OEM conical puller and some heat finally prevailed.
Whole lot of work to replace two seals.
Package arrived today straight from Japan. Wrapped up very well with brown fiber reinforced tape over every seam and around the middle. Not surprisingly it arrived safe and sound.
