259,000 and mine went out. Started going downhill around 252,000 i think cause that's when I got it, maybe even before. Lasted a few thousand while slipping and then finally wouldn't shift out of first.
I finally had to replace the A440 transmission in my 88 fj62 as well as the transfer case. I was wondering if the old trans and t case would be worth keeping. The trans has around 260k and was slipping badly, and wouldn't shift above 2nd. The t case worked perfectly and didn't have any issues...
My passenger window motor died. Cruiser parts has it listed for $75. Could I go to a junkyard and pull one from an old 4runner for cheaper or will it not fit? Any advice appreciated. The window will not roll down and the voltage does not change when I try.
Well when you live in a not so populated area with no traffic it's not too big of a deal. Plus the 62 has great visibility and I can always stick my head out of the huge area that used to be a door...or just by some temporary mirrors to stick on the side
