Look nice!! Is the vehicle all stock weight too?
Would you mind sharing your hub to fender measurements? Always nice to have those up here on the forum for future reference.
I’m going to be honest with you, Rusty, this ain’t an easy driveway or roadway fix. Popping sounds while steering the vehicle can emanate from a host of front suspension components, too many to mention here involving tools as crude as blow...
Luckily the shocks are long lasting and the resale market for them is strong, especially on here, so you can sell those and buy the others for a small price difference.
You'd be better off using the ones made for it instead of these universal ones

I may have to make a change to these in the rear of my Cruiser later this year. Been looking for something with more dampening than the twin tube but with some real travel
Sharing the news on these new products that Dobinsons seemingly pulled out of nowhere!! These are the newest additions to the 3-Way Adjustable MRA Shocks that Dobinsons have had for quite a few years, and these are called the Smoothie Series...
Hey Guys
Apparently several of you maniacs out there felt that the existing Dobinsons IMS shocks to suit a 6" lift on an 80 Series weren't long enough, so Dobinsons went ahead and built the longest IMS shocks they make to date. Now there are...
If you’re curious I cut open a J200 KDSS valve to get a better understanding of how it operates. Some pretty interesting stuff is going on inside.

There are white labels on the top or bottom of each spring that say it. Photo attached for reference.
Yes, you can adjust the preload, but that can be quite hard to do on the vehicle. Swapping the whole strut assembly left to right would...
I've never owned a 200 series, but the 5th gen 4runner with KDSS does the same thing, one side gets more down travel than the other up front. That won't affect anything until you're about to lift a tire off the ground.
The front and rear...
I spent far too much time and energy chasing a suspension lean. Anyting under 5/8" i wouldnt worry about; Which is within toyota's specifications. One thing i noticed is that when i attempted to level the rear, i was about 3/4" off, by adding...
Sounds like a rough situation.
Looking at their Google Reviews, they don't seem to be a very old shop. Hopefully they can sort out the communication problems (see the one bad review on there), and straight up tell someone "I don't have any...
Mine have been on for a year and have settled very little. Also removed one leaf, front and back, from each spring (bought the HJ61-7L and HJ61-6L). Running with Bilstein B6 4600 shocks and absolutely love the ride.
My lift will be going on this week. Just waiting on some 4 degree shims & rear spring pin bushings from @cruiseroutfit to arrive.
I got the kit from @crikeymike.
Great transaction and fast shipping!
Figured I'd go with him since he's in the...
I’ll have the 40 there. I had originally planned on the medium kit but @Polecat recieved the heavy/incorrect fronts for his 43… I ended up using them and hollering @crikeymike for the rest. Glad I did. Silky smooth and much more responsive...
