I am curious to see if their innerlock really works. I see it seems to work well for the exterior bead, but what about the interior? How does this compare with Method's bead grip?
Do it, it's incredibly easy. Welding machines make is super easy to setup. When I got started I took a welding class at a local forge, was like $75 for an hour and a half of hands on training, learning techniques etc. Bought a welder, welded some...
Did another full rear spring swap: 2721 --> 2723. The moment I liberated the second spring, the FedEx truck pulled up with the new 23's. The box never even touched the floor before the springs went in. I love it when a plan comes together. Ride...
We don’t use anything but correction arms from
@Delta VS or Slee. Bushing/brackets to adjust etc are just band aid systems.
For correction you either cut and turn the axles (buku labor) or you buy arms to make the correction.
Got the coilovers in now for the 3 link.Another weekend to align and do some more trimming, then I can wheel it again. This has been a long journey and I can already tell I’m going to have to relearn how to drive it
Spent a day on dirt with my dogs, experimenting with adjustments on my minty fresh new Dobinsons MRR shocks. Did just over 100 miles in total, and found that empty boat ramps make for a fantastic and repeatable damper test rig. I did 6 passes on...
I was able to get mine installed today as I wrapped up my valve cover gasket job. The instructions were SUPER easy and concise…with one hiccup…I didn’t have the engine hoist bracket 🤷🏻♂️. I had my head gasket done years ago and never noticed...
Take your hood off it will be much easier when installing. It’s def easier taking the motor out but it’s a big task and you can do it in the truck with a couple extra curse words. Keep up the good work!
I yanked my engine when I did mine, one of the best decisions I have made. SOOOOO much easier to work on and, any other stuff you need to reach, like the rear heater hoses, high pressure steering hoses, and PHH are a snap.
I am in the process of adding a shelf for my new LP9s. I wanted the lights to sit behind the bar for additional protection. I also relocated my winch controller to the area where the anti lock brake system used to reside. I also had to notch the...
I have a labs front and rear, for looks I like Slee's front better, I think he has the best looking front bumpers for an 80. I just went 4x4 for the clearance.
If you go with the labs bumper, weld it yourself if can weld. Mine was not symmetrical...
Was putting my ‘92 back together after a deserved full paint job. Clear coat was starting to fail after 32 years. I made new door cards and upholstered them while the 80 was at the paint shop. All that’s left is repainting the front bumper...
All the first orders are packed and will be dropped off at the post office tomorrow morning. Thanks again for all your support.
UPDATE - Orders dropped off. 👍
There is no arrogance. I'm just stating the facts.
What I stated is the Aisan does not sell to the aftermarket-- IE: They don't have an aftermarket program like Denso does.
If it's an Aisan in an aftermarket box or an "Aisan" box, it's a...
