Got a lump in my throat, never thought i would be selling my 80. I bought this truck with @ 115K from an exec that babied it in Dallas, never offroaded, all PM done by Dealer and paperwork to prove it. Currently just under 133K on the rig, runs great!
I bought it to play and build, but a divorce has thrown my world upside down. When i bought it, i did ALL PM baselining that i knew of doing:
Front/Rear axle svc...New Trunnions, Wheel bearings, upgraded seals
Ceramic 100 series pads with rotors
Land Tank Blue Hub Fan clutch
Lifetime warranty starter
New A/C clutch, Serviced/recharged- blows cold
Diff Breather relocation Front/Rear axles
Full Synthetic Brake fluid/flush, Tranny fluid, Front/Rear/Center diffs (Mobil 1)
New Energizer Battery (Sams club)
Iridium Plugs, OEM Wires, PHH, Toy Red Coolant, All hoses, PCV, and KN Air Filter

Did some sound deading on panels with undercoating and dynamat equivalent
Condition:
Paint VGC for age/milage...no dents, just a couple dings on rear liftgate where kids had left somethings on bumper and opened gate
Few spots could use touch ups, but still above avg IMO. Undercarriage shows little to no rust...this was dry Texas Rig and then in NM. Just moved to CO last year.
Rear bumper is stock and has scraped up corner platics (i was planning on getting built rear bumper)
Flares- Fair condition. Clear coat failing on top side like most of these rigs. I have had trouble keeping a couple of them on tight, the front passenger is not on right now as i was considering de-flaring. I have the parts should u want to reinstall
Interior- GC. Wood trim on doors/dash might need removed/replaced...up to you on cosmetics. Motor on pass seat needs fixed...a bushing needs replaced, very common issue. I have seat where i want it, works for me. Drivers seat has seam pulling loose...i have a new sheepskin cover installed which is great here in CO as its warm in winter/cool in summer. Knob on DS to adjust backrest is broke...i adjust it where i want it and leave it. Everything else looks good IMO...its clean. I do have other 3rd row seat but its up at my cabin and i can't get in there too much snow.
Mechanical- Brakes are new, but pedal is a bit squishy like most 80's.
Slight drive shaft vibration on front. Everything else works great, engine is strong (other than the 35" tires and stock gears) and has been babied with synthetics every single oil change. HG has not been changed...enging and cooling system has been meticulously pampered; Blue Hub fan clutch, Toy Red and frequent flushes make me optimistic about any failure. ScanGauge shows 180's as normal temps.
Front/Rear lockers perfect
Up to you where to take this rig from here...i can't in my right mind use this as a daily driver. My wish list was winch, rear bumper and gears. I was planning on deflaring and Rhino lining over flares and two-tone paint.
