While at S&T this year I spoke with a guy who had the Metal Tech front bumper. His 80 had damage from both of the end bars being bent in to the body of the 80. I was surprised to see that amount of damage, I thought Metal Tech tested the hell out of their bumpers. Not sure what kind of forces were involved to do this. The damage was done by the previous owner of the rig.

That sounds suhweet! I've talked to Lars about welding up some quarter panel protection after our gig at Trail 13. Make sure you ask for some 1-1/2" .120 wall tube, .
