Toyota Models - Left hand drive (LHD) - Export from Thailand

I'll take the model with:

No fancy suspension (just coils)
Dual fuel tank
Dual spare tires (tailgate and underbody)
Rear Diff lock! (no VSC or electronic nannies)
Center console coolbox
Rear pintle hook

and other goodies

Model TLLCM-17 (diesel) and TLLCM-10 (4.7 gas) look absolutely yummy.

There's also a 4.0V6 for markets that don't need huge engines.

P.S. don't know if this has been posted already. :)

I'll take a 70 series.

And did you see the brands from the Americas? Even the rest of the world thinks Chrysler and GM are sub-par.

Already had a 70. It's like my current 80, only more square. Haha. I love the 70, but a 200 looks like a great all arounder for the kind of usage locally. :)

And yes, even in this tiny country of ours, most of the car buying population still think your 'domestic' brands are crap. :)

I just had another 42 units of the "G9" spec TLC
These are all 4.5L diesel/manual transmission. They look a little higher then stock since I have already installed the Ironman Suspension we had designed specifically for me.

You'd think they'd delete the stupid push-button start on the "work truck" version of the TLC.

Me likey, me want!

I had a meeting with "toyota" - the real toyota not just a dealership over a yr ago in Iraq and then again when they came to our factory in the UAE. I asked them if there was anyone to remove the push button and go back to a simple key design. (you can't start a TLC if you turn it off next to an ECM at a US check point).

They told me that the key fob is integrated to so many parts of the computer now (security/ignition) that you couldn't just wire up an aftermarket ignition. They did say they were going to make a different computer system in the aus mining version and "might" release it in the G9 specs later. Doubt it will ever be offered in the USA.

manual diesel...drool, drool.

I want to work for xkennx...

Any parts positions open in your neck of the woods? I have good experience and references.

I have dual passports and speak Turkish.

:)

Actually - this week we are moving our jebel ali/sharajh/and RAK factories to our new big factory in RAK. Right now I'm in Bahrain right now but after 2 weeks if you in RAK always welcome to come see the factory.

As far as jobs go - for those of you that have never worked in the middle east - its not like working out west. Normally its 10+ hour days and 6 days a week. And summer time its 45+ degrees cel. And 95% humidity. But more then welcome to email/pm your resume/cv and I will forward it to our HOUR department.

Right now I know we are looking for people for jordan and uae and in june/july looking for our usa factory

Over here, we don't really care how 'bare' a Land Cruiser is. But it must have rear a/c to cope with the hot weather and day long traffic jams... :)
