FREE!

It was left over from a custom home build, my neighbor is a county codes inspector, comes home with lots of goodies.

I'm going to run about 30 sq. ft. though. Last I checked it was 2.70 something a sq. ft.

Is that peices of marble slabs for counters?
Looks nice.

I just read it's slate... alot of color for slate.

Kevin

Thanks, It's called Hymalayan Casmere (sic), comes from india.
Colors range from red, tans, black, and gray.

I'l post a pic after it's acid washed, as these do no justice.

Bump for finished pics, (found a roll of film that was lost).

Nice, only thing missing is a neekid chick ;)

(seriously, good job!!)

look like 5.11 plus dry...add water and soap and you're gonna need to be adding some bolts to climb that shower!!:D Nice work.

Sorry if I offend any rock climbers who are familiar with the actual terminolgy associated with actual rock climbing.....

I like it too...

Has a Picaso feel to it.

Thanks..

Imagine that lol

:D

Come on out to vegas and do my bathrooms now ;)

Only if you cut the stone and do all the grouting.;)

I'll supervise, and drink all your beer.:D

You bringing the stone??? :D

If so, deal :D

I have heard that a plasma can cut rock.. this is a great excuse to see if that is true :)

 Plasma?

And to think, all that time I waisted behind a 4 1/2" grinder.

Wonder what happens if there is some moisture imbedded in the rock, you better try it first and let me know.:D

I have heard that a plasma can cut rock.. :)

The material needs to be electrically conductive for plasma to work. I suppose if the rock had really high concentrations of metal ore in it- it might work, otherwise, I don't think so.

They are using plasma to cut glass and plastic now. Use a sacraficial (sp) steel plate overlaid on the item you are cutting to create the arc and it blows right through what is behind it.

Oh, nice shower stall!!!!!!!
