Bought this 1978 FJ40 6mo ago and have been fixing it up ever since. It's my daily driver and it runs and drives great! Prior to this FJ40 I had an 88' FJ62 that I regretfully sold. I love the 40 but I have a wife and kids, and it's just not as practical. The FJ40 had 2 owners from 1978-2012. Car is originally from Colorado and a few rust spots but is 99% solid and original. Original driveline, ect. Has new tires, battery, plugs, valve adjustment, rear shackles, and tons of trim pieces (emblems, tail light lenses, ect) Also has a new OEM Toyota windshield ($400) ect. The interior was just repainted as well and shows nicely. Exterior has been painted 1 time years ago and is faded. I have spent roughly $2,500 in the last 6 months. It's a fanstaic driver in very good original condition. I drive it 70mph on the interstate daily 
Ideally I would like to trade for an excellent condition FJ62 but would be interested in other vehicles.....also would trade for a 62 + cash...the cash price of my FJ40 as it's sits is $11,000.
