because finding a diesel will probly never happen

que?

www.jarcoinc.com

But that is some nice work there. I really think that the Dolphin/RV with the Lexus engine will be cool--not as cool as an RV with a 1KZ-TE, but cool as crap...

ok, maybe your right.

so let me rephrase that

because most of us could never afford a diesel

:D

No no. You're just looking at it all wrong. With the current price of diesel, and the likelyhood of increased fuel costs, you can't afford NOT to have a diesel. Also, you wouldn't want to support Terrorists would you? Buy a diesel or the terrorists win!!!!!

At least, that's the logic I used to justify mine to myself. I assume it would work on a wife, but I have no need to try.

because most of us americans have low paying jobs or are unemployed and that could never let us afford a diesel swap

Funny you fixed it like that....

I bought my diesel shortly after being laid off and ended up being unemployed for around 7 months. And the job I did get at that point was literally the lowest paid person in that position on earth.

If I can do it on $24K a year, I'm sure others can...

There's some merit to your idea that *someone* convert the trucks to diesel and then sell them as a turnkey deal. I've certainly thought about doing it myself... They wouldn't be cheap, but I think there might be a market for it.

Perhaps it's just an issue of not realizing just how awesome the Toyota diesels are? Perhaps that would make one more willing to scrounge the cash to get one done? I know that my one ride in a 3L powered Hilux in Argentina had a lot to do with pushing me to do it...

Maybe we can get a government subsidy to help fight terrorists by converting to diesels? And if that fails, then maybe we can convince someone that the best way to research terrorists is to get more familiar with how they live.... And you know the saying "you can tell a lot about a man from his truck?" Or maybe someone just needs to track down this guy...

 bout time,

Every time I hear "Diesel" I hear my friend talking about seeing 100's of Diesels being loaded up on ships headed for ???. People could not wait to get rid of them,,,,,,,enter today......and?

Funny how the economic "tide" is. Don't need? Cheaper here, makes someone money there, so ship it out.

Need it, cheaper there makes someone money here, so ship it in.

[And I know that guy, bought his (phone) book 1136 pages including index, the section I qualify for (white, male) is about one page...government! pft!

they really know how to look out for me.]
