Most high torque starters I know of are made from Nissan or Yota starters...

Prolly why Mean Green doesn't list one...

What year is your rig? I thought all of the mini starters were Denso gear reduction? In my experience they are very efficient and reliable, simply take them apart, replace the contacts, clean and grease the bearings and they last pretty much forever. IIRC there are at least 3 types for the 20R series, the normal one, and two higher amp units that are for colder and arctic conditions, 1.0KW, 1.4KW and 1.8KW maybe?

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but I'm gonna be buying a Toyota starter soon and want to get the most bang out of my starter for my buck. Anyone out there have any knowledge on how to get the 1.4KW or 1.8KW part numbers?

It's called the Fast Moving Parts Catalog. I have one at home I will use when I get there. It helps to know what you are working on.
