Looks like the T50 did sell. Checked out a local group and someone caught it and a McLaren at a local coffee shop.

These three aren't my pictures but with the summer cars and coffee circuit coming up I'm going to get my own.

I'm hesitant to drive my Cruiser around the idiot masses! No way I'm driving a $50MM car on public streets around all the texting.
A car is for driving...... no way im paying 50 million for a car and not driving it. Plus if I have 50 million for a car I can easily afford the insurance and a mercenary or two for uninsured drivers 😉

I think Leno put it best when a reporter asked him about driving his collections around Burbank, Sunvalley, Tujunga, La Crescenta, Glendale etc....
He said the difference between a car enthusiast and a car collector is an enthusiast drives them, a collector just uses them as an investment.

Leno also won't drive his F1 around the public. You have to lean on common sense at some point. There is nothing to prove by needlessly exposing yourself to pain and heartbreak and financial hurt.

If you're talking about his McLaren F1 I've seen him drive it on public roads. He'll Mr. Bean bought his F1 for 1 million totaled it twice and still sold it for over 20 million.

Bottom line for me if I'm buying a car I'm driving it. Would I spend 38 mil on a car even if I was a billionaire? No on most cars but only if it was in my top 3, and I'd drive it.

I completely understand what you're saying with your point of view but to me a car is a car and should be driven.
