Saw the one you're referring to rolling through Dilworth recently as well, as I admired the half door job. As an aside, there are a boat load of Cruisers in Dilworth, now that I've relocated. I've lost count on 60s/80s/100s at this point, only noticed a handful of 40s.
Hmmm... maybe I should move to Dilworth. Only Cruisers in Ballantyne are soccer mom versions.

Spotted Jonathan in my drive yesterday. sweet rig.
he has been out to a couple clean ups and the barn

And spotted this rover today. There are three in town now but thought this was one I see commonly that added a snorkel but turns out another new 110 in the hood.

That is Dale, a UC member who lives around Greenwood I recall. He brings it up the Cars & Coffee in Greenville sometimes. @Trollhole has done some work on it over the years as well. It is beautiful!

Early 40 with what looks like a h55 shifter next to 4wheelparts on Glenwood earlier today.

Next door neighbor's '69 karman ghia needed an idle adjustment once it awoke from it's covid slumber.

Looks right to me. Early 40s had reverse light on drive side only in that position

Sitting at Chapel Hill Tire waiting for a patch (screw in rear passenger) saw this heading down 501 towards Chapel Hill

Nice Rover J. I saw this one at shadowlands a few weeks ago. Can’t help it. I want one
