Yota Atlanta - Monthly Meeting Information

I guess I need to pay closer attention. I did not see the Greer announcement.
In an attempt to sort of spread the word (not poach trying to poach), the STLCA is considering quarterly meetings south of Chattanooga - think Cartersville.
If anyone is interested in something like that or if you find ATL meetings too far, don't be shy.

We will discussion our plans for the Georgia Traverse trip Feb 17-19

Since I will not be attending, let me share this in advance...
The FS in Georgia closes a large portion of the roads/tracks from January to March. I have run most of the Traverse route with friends. My friends navigated on our trips so I don't know for a fact where we danced on and off the Traverse, but we were clearly on FS roads much of the time.
Therefore, my suggestion is to research your planned route against closures or possibly revise your timing to avoid closures.

Good advice. We are going to do some serious research and planning before we go. I am confident that things will certainly not go as planned, but I am also certain that we will have a good time and make some good memories… that’s the goal.

No mins, just had breakfast, talked about our Feb outting and then stood around in the parking lot look at our cruisers and talked Toyota for about an hour.

For those interested in joining, let’s plan to meet here at the Walmart on 985N tomorrow at 10:00AM (1/6/24)

We’ll be heading up to Sarah’s creek Campground just east of Clayton, GA. I plan to run Sandy Ford road and map the areas around Sarah’s Creek on GAIA in preparation for a trash cleanup event in the future

Trails will be easy to moderate at their most difficult moments.
