do you have any more photos of this setup? I would like to use it for inspiration for my project on my 61. I like the idea of the bottom front mount and I want to incorporate this into a TC protection job too.

Pleating a 40 SOA project right now and we have a 45 at the shop, both with this type of anti-warp bar.
We’ve been running this design ( thanks to FC !!!!! ) for close to 20 years now.
They’ve performed flawlessly unlike some of the other “ideas” who have come and gone, along the same lines of the scissor-shackles. Some ideas work well, some just don’t in a real-world application.

that's great news! do you have any visuals, photos, or design tips to share? I wouldn't want to steal any proprietary information, but any insight you might share is greatly appreciated. This rookie fabricator needs all the guidance he can get.

The pic the OP posted is exactly what you want/need. We've been building them that way for years. It's a design perfected by FC187 and has been tried and tested on numerous cruisers. Including mine .......

Speaking of the FC187 anti-wrap bar, it occurs to me that I might own one of his earliest...
Don did my SOA in, I believe, 2004. Did it in the side-yard of his Stockton house. He told me, at the time, that he wanted to use my SOA as his introduction, sort of, as a Fabricator. There was a thread on PoR about it, I can't find it now. I thank my lucky stars that I got to be his guinea pig.
I drove the Pig to Pismo that year, jumped it of course (see avatar), no problem there. Drove the Rubicon in 2005 for the second Pigs on the 'Con run, spanked the trail. Don hisself watched me cruise through the old Gatekeeper, he was all smiles. Like me.
That anti-wrap bar has never given me any trouble, I forget it's there. It's been through the Rubicon plenty of times and it just works. I really should clean it up some, maybe paint it. Probably should replace the Heims, haven't got around to it yet.
That probably should settle any question about longevity.
