Lights arrived last year....~6 months ago? Finally getting around to installing them - do we need to add the wiring harness in our rigs or is existing wiring sufficient?

Their rep on clublexus said it wasn't needed. I've been running mine without the harness.

Sorry to necro. Did you guys just throw an HID into the stock halogen projector or did you retrofit? I wanna upgrade, but i really cant afford a proper retro atm.
I use $40 Kensun 35 watt 4300k and it was night and day difference. No retrofit lens, no relay wiring harness and no warning canceller.
Amazon sent 55 watt 5000k by accident and It flicker without wiring harness. It end up much dimmer and scattered light. My eyes must be getting bad and the 4300k are much more pleasant and brighter to my eyes.
