I found some on alibaba.com, but u need to order 500 minimum.
Since it sounds like you're cutting it up and doing additional fabrication, a sheet metal shop should be able to bend up and bead roll a "panel" that looks like a jerry can. More expensive than buying something mass produced, but more likely to get just what you want.
Ok, yeah, my idea won't work so well. I was figuring that you were using the sides of the cans.
