X-case the same for all years 100 series?

Hello and happy new year. I found a x-case that’s 3 hours from me listed for sale. It’s from a 02 100 series. My question is, will it work on my 1998? Reason I’m asking because I would like to do the sumo gears and part time kit since Tim just posted the how to videos on it.
