I just picked up 1962 FJ40 and I am looking to do a resto. on it so I need a few original parts I am missing ............ hoping you guys can help me out.

I need:
early style generator
drive plates
fuse block cover
and this is a long shot....... OEM tool kit/ tools

If you got it let me know.

I guess that may not be the correct name, but essentially all Landcruisers came to America with "drive plates" on the front axle instead of locking hubs. Hubs were a dealer installed option. With drive plates the front axles were always enganged....... I hope that makes sense

I thought that's what you might have meant. Pretty sure I got those from a ball and claw type front axle (1964 fj45). Let me know if that would work. Should be 6 spline IIRC.

Mike if it is ball and claw it should work for my 62............. although I am not an expert on this early stuff by any means. PM a price!

thanks
JP

Oh, I also have these on my trailer. Early Warn barrel style 6 spline locking hubs. :D

Just pay for shipping and they are yours. I'll see if I can find them. I think I know there they are.
