Destin,

Maybe the cruiser gurus will straighten me out...........but I don't think there is one for a FJ. I say that, because the early siamese F motor did come with a two barrel on the heavy FA truck but finding one of those manifold sets might be a challenge.

You could use a factory 1x2 adapter upside down but the flow would be horrid (think NASCAR restrictor plate). I think there were old school cast adapters sold by specter and manafre back in the day, but they would be for rochester 2 bbls.

Jim there are a few of these here in the US. I missed one on eBay years ago. That was before I decided the one barrel was plenty. Beside the restriction I think the air cleaner wouldn't clear the hood with 1X2 adapter. Man-A-Free sold a adapter to use a two barrel Rochester carburetor. Add a header and can cruise all day at freeway speeds. Or until you a failure from the early oiling system.

hmm craps.

I wanted to pop on a trollhole carb, to see if I could illuminate my problem.
I replaced everything in my fuel system and i still have some weirdness when hot and when cold.

if anyone has a prefect, mint condition one barrel cab ( can be small glas with the idle solenoid ) I be into that maybe too.

peep my thread herehehe

What do you think the value of just the intake would be?

i dunno maybe someone here would know.

I would like to find both the intake and exhaust manifold, so i could get em cleaned up and machined together. Then mount up a trollhole carb.

tired of trying to sort out my beat old sd40 carb.

let me know guys

I think I have what you want. I am away from MT as usual, but will see if I can find it when I am Home. I had been holding out for a big window two b...

A big window 2 barrel?? I know where 1 from a Stout can be located.

I saw a Stout carb once, I think it is smaller than what would fit an F135. The carb I would curse myself with would be the one that was on the FA trucks and is illustrated in the old F135 engine manuals. I think somebody on Mud has one and was toying with it, I'll try a search...

This is what you need, yes?

Well, I tried to be nice by getting the heat riser shaft unstuck, but broke the weight with a little tap...found another weight and put it on with a 1/4"x3/8" tension pin.

Caution to all: remove weight before soaking/tapping unless you have more!

By the way, the counterweight stops are marked with an H and a C....I had never noticed before...
