Missing the pivoting cover, no key of course, dent in the edge, chrome rough. Good serviceable cap to keep the gas in and the rain out.

This was the plate use with 68 thru 3/69 carb on the F145. And you told me you just dug out a bunch of just. You should nothing on these early cruisers is junk.

I think we named the 25 chat thread before chat was such a dirty word. And no chat in the classifieds.................we got rules now.

Picture for Tahoe40/45, because he asked, if you don't see what you need, just ask.

This is the whole 25 assembly from end to end. Not to talk myself out of a sale, but the reason I have this is because a 40 assembly will bolt in place, is more stout, you can get tie rod ends, and don't have to worry about running 25 wheels. But if you just have to be original, check your tie rod length because they either shortened it or substituted a 40 tie rod.

This would be a lot easier if you all were here to rummage through the junk to see what I'd part with.

Some more stuff I won't use but just can't recycle:


25 / Early 40 Step, if you have barn doors you need a step............sure it looks like it got run over but it's solid. The worst damage is in the sides where it will be easy(ier) to fix. A dent in the front edge. Some extra holes and cracks will have to be filled with a welder. $20?


Canister oil filter didn't leak when installed but puked all over my feet when I moved it. $10? SOLD

Jack............it's a jack, probably from a '68 or so..........extension screw is frozen, but will probably free up with a good soaking. $15 SOLD

25 Backing plates ............ bent and rusty, but not rotted away, adjusters rusted in place, one wheel cylinder with junction block.........would make a good core. Don't have the heart to throw out. Free if you take the plates..........$10 if you want the wheel cylinder separate.

Pintle hook eye bolt...............................free with another purchase. SOLD

Pocket Glove Box Doors, one bare one from a 25 with a good (but a little bent up) hinge and one from a '62 40 with a handle (starting to crack at the base but you can save it) clip and broken hinge. Pair of tin snips and a welder and you'll have yourself one fine pocket door. $10? SOLD
