Wanted WTB 76 FJ40 Carb

Well, it looks like I am in need of a carb for a 76.

Anyone have one laying around?

I've got a 78 carb that needs a rebuild (pulled from junkyard, so not sure on shape). Decided Im not going to be using it. Will take what I paid for it $50 plus the ride.

Maybe a 3 way dealis in order?

Or, crazy if you can't wait a month or so (I can't be w/out mine until the new one is ready to be installed) then thorvald I might just buy yours...

if you need one for emissions purposes, you should probably specify if you are looking for cal spec, federal spec, or hi altitude spec. There were three different models IIRC.

Good point. My rig came with the high-alt stuff, and it's mostly still on there, but not connected rigth. FJ40Jim seems to recommend against it, so I'm going for a federal spec '78 carb.
