This admittedly temporary fix failed after about three years.
I pulled the linkage and had BC Fabrication in Bayfield CO weld a bolt for a heim joint (AKA spherical rod end, ball joint) on the motor end.
Got it all installed and was adjusting when the middle bushing went. Suffice to say, I was unhappy.
On the up-side, I never figured that fix to be permanent and was in the process of engineering new linkage out of rod stock with all heim joints. I had those bent up to match stock sitting on the bench waiting for some lock nuts. They will require re-using the wiper axle/pivots as they can't be purchased apart from the entire assembly (around $225 as of 5/5/15) so today I'll pulll those (if the rain stops) and drill out the ball studs, get mounting bolts and see if it works. If so, I'll probably check into the possibility of offering them as kits.
